I ordered the track/racing boots. I'm going tonight to try on some leathers (pants only). I hope they fit- but with the way my day is going, probably won't. Haha.

I can relate! I'm a lil' over 5'6". When I raced MX I stood on wooden blocks at the starting gate. But felt ridiculous so I cut about 1 1/2" of seat foam out. And now I'm on my tip toes when stopped on my GSXR.

It's less about your height and more about the length of your legs.

I have fairly long legs...hey...they go all the way to the ground the only bike that I've had to tip-toe lately is the R6.

Don't feel bad, my gal dropped her 650 3 times in the driveway, but only once since I lowered it.

Did you guys slide the forks up some in the trees to lower the front to match the rear? That will help some and also restore the handling...

That's definitely the next step. And I'm nearly convinced that I should shave the seat!

I shaved the front of hers and left the back alone. I need to redo it tho, 'cause I did a crappy job.

She also wears riding boots that look like hiking boots, with thicker soles. She is still on her toes tho.

Let me know if you really wanna get it fixed. I have a really good concrete guy, and he's CHEAP (compared to others).

DRIVEWAYS ARE DANGEROUS! I'm sure you saw that I dropped mine on my leg around a week ago in my driveway. At least there was no damage to yours thankfully. My drop scratched the farings a LITTLE and broke my windscreen.

ok- seat shaved. I can touch the ground with both of my feet- even if one foot is flat, the other toes can touch. I'm thinking of taking a little ride over to Guitarman's house to let him lower the front for me tonight...

The pants fit great- size small- AND I can wear them over my jeans/slacks. Now I just need my boots!
