do you know what stillettos are??? cuz the ICON boots are flat....kinda like a platform type boot....so they really arent "heels" and unlike heels they dont get hung on the foot peg...they are meant for riding......

My sis has the icon bombshell boots. They are fine for riding. They don't have a small heel that makes tipping easy. I didn't buy those. I bought man style - flat soled, high top m/c boots.

I don't think a high heel is going to necessarily twist an ankle - I wear 4" heels everyday of my life and have for the past few years. If I were going to twist my ankle I would have done by now. It's a girl thing.

Now, RacerX- if YOU wore high heels, you would probably twist your ankle frequently. But I think I would like to see that!

I feel your pain Squoddy....I'm 5'5, maybe 5'6 on a good day and I can just barely get both feet to touch the ground, most of the time I just keep one foot on a peg and use the other to push myself around when backing up or even going forward. But year, I've had some close calls where I've put the stand down and went to set the bike and my foot down but the ground was further the way than I anticipated.

Owning a motorcycle has truly made me wish I was a little taller. Baller, shot caller. If I had a girl I would call her.

i've been to a few strip bars in my time, maybe not stil. but a very high heel

squoddy, they may work for riding, but i highly recommend NOT to wear them for riding, too high a heel causes ankle injuries in emergancy "getoffs". had a broken ankle in 1 of my classes w/ similar boot.

and yes i'm talking about the bombshell

well you can break lots of things in emergency get offs......at least the boots offer height ( which could make riding safer for shorter folks) and they cover the ankle ( way better than tennis shoes which alot of people ride in)

Do you like them? I was thinking about ordering them but $170 and I am not sure if they make them big enough for me. Saw them at on the border and they look kinda cheap. Your opnions? I am tall but was thinking it would still be nice to have little extra.
