they are hid. they are an aftermarket universal h7 bulb. my bike has h7 low and h9 high bulbs. from what i understand the h9 has a locking ring and its the only difference fitting wise. so i can take the ring and apply to the high side bulb abd fit these to my bike. no more high beam but having 2 on all the time instead of the wink would be nice as my stock light sucks. 2 hid's at night. werd. now matt cant get off his bike and walk back to mine and turn my high beam off due to me not knowing it was on and turn it off for me instead of signaling to me it is blinding him so as i can turn it off and then i feel like a . lol. j/k. but really im thinking of robbing them for my self.

have you found the ballast?

HIDs are not only bulbs.

dude, i'm an audi tech at millennium audi. i do this thing for a living. lol. hid bulbs are not the same as regular bulbs. they visually look completely different. lol. i am aware. thank you tho for your input. it is now a matter of whether or not the fixtures were modified and if i can just put cheapy regular bulbs back in. after work i will find the ballasts and see how extensive the wiring is, whether the original connectors etc etc etc. i'm excited.
