If you have to ask, you can't afford them. Seriously- I did not ask the price. I have no idea.

I rode today- no problems. I was going too fast to get wet.

Okay- I know you can order them online, but don't have details. When I registered my bike for the first time I asked if I could get personalized tags and she said yes. I didn't ask about price- I just knew I wanted the plate to say SQODDY- she ordered it and I paid $226 for tax, registration, and personal tag.

Yes, only six letters, that's why the U is missing! I've had personal tags before, too- on a car- BOOGAR

Customized plates run i think 45$ a year.

I had customized and college plates for a while, and i think it was 45$ for the personalized and 35$ for the college.

well worth it to be a pimp.

Hey Squoddy, how much did you lower your bike and how do you like it since being lowered?

I love it. I lowered it 2" with GSXR links. I haven't lowered the front, yet, but am going to- just a bit. I still need to shave the seat, because I can't back up!

What's that, you say? We're talking about riding motorcycles in the rain? Ooooohhhh. That does make a difference. Never-you-mind, then. My mind was, ah, well...

Wow you must be pretty short. I'm about 5'5 and can only tippy-toe my R6 with both feet down.

I keep entertaining the idea of lower mine an inch or 2 but hear so many negative things about doing so.

I'm five foot nothing. I think my inseam is 29". You can always shave or change out your seat to accomodate - it can lower the height another inch. I hear about the negatives, too, but if I can't touch the ground, then I can't ride the bike. Plus, I'm not an aggressive rider- YET!

Watch out- just bought boots, and I'm going to try on some pants tomorrow!
