Race Wiring a Bike for CMRA

I am going to need help. I am sure I can figure this stuff out and "RIG" it up. I prefer to do it nice and pretty like a racer buddy of mine. So someone who is close to Pasadena area and would like to help me out I would appreciate it. I will do the work just tell me what I need and lend me your experience.

Thanks in advance

Bolt jig and a drill press help. I don't have the patience to drill the bolts while on the bike. My bikes are over safety wired, even my street bike.

Read this: http://www.whizwheels.com/Tips/safetywiring.html

If you go by WERA's rules for what has to be wired, it will cover you for any organization as most orgs use WERA's guidelines for their own.

Don't get sucked in to getting a jig for it either, most of the time, they're !

Get lots of bits (like 10, or 5 of the really expensive high speed bits), use a high speed drill, use lots of lubricant, and most of all, BE PATIENT

It can actually be kinda fun... but then again, I'm weird.

+1 just put the bolts in a vice.
After you break a few, you will get the speed and feel for it.

I've got a new reason to wire a bike, so you're welcome to come to my shop and do yours too. I'm a bit out in the boonies though...

this might help on how its done and what you might need.

http://rc51.org/

go to "mods"
and then to "safety wiring how to".
hope this helps,if you really want to do it yourself this should be all you need....IMHO
