ya know. that was probably it. riding 2 up w/Stacy was totally comfortable with me because we were with Mel, and going noob speeds.

when i was with D on 3090 and we thought mel and stacy went 244 to anderson and we were hauling , i was way WAY out of my comfort zone.

Yup. Hardest part of leading a noob ride is resisting the temptation to run my normal pace. But then again, I am slow anyhow, so my normal pace is ok for some....

that was at the front of the pack -- i went the first part towards yankees then had to home cause of the coldness,,,,,,, i was the lone spirited rider the most of the day,, chase was cruising with me on 3090

One thing we might try for the next noob ride to keep everyone together, is get a menu from Yankees and phone the orders in ahead of time. That way everyone doesn't have to wait so long for food.

Or, (I know shudder), go to a different lunch stop.... I know! I know! What am I thinking!!!!
