Being honest....I still luv u guys!!!!

Stacey/Dustin Thanks for trailering my bike!

Staceys Thanks for the nice controlled ride up 2 Yankees! I loved going my own pace learning how to take curves. I'll ride w/u girls anytime!!!

Yamahwhore Nice to meet you, get well soon!

How I feel about the ride!!! 1st I wanna say I love MH! I consider U guys my family..so I will b honest w/u. This was not a NOOB RIDE! I felt like the only noob. I got bout 1mo experience, none on curves. I was so far back there, I missed 2 or 3 turns, and I felt like I was a burden. It would of been nice to ride w/other noobs instead of me by myself in the back.

Superdooper thanks 4 Dustin & Staceys hangin in the back w/me. I don't mean to hurt anyones feeling I just wished I knew this wasn't a noob ride before I went so I wouldn't kill-joy anyones fast pace cuz of 1 noob.

poorly placed in the line up of posts. I was talking about Psyclone. The only thing you have ever given me a hard time for was for being a nOOb...and I can't really be upset about that, now can I??? LOL

Mello:

Don't fall into some misconception that you are killing someones ride by riding your own pace. That is how people get sucked into riding over their heads. I've taken my girl out on these rides and she is CERTAINLY a newb and DEFINITELY rides slower than most, but that is part of the fun of bringing new people out to the forest. Point is, don't apologize for riding within you level, you made it home shiney and safe, you didn't hold us up.

If you were with us on the ride OUT to Yankees (I don't think you were) you would have had the experience of Cali showing you some lines ect... or pulling one of us aside to guide you through the route.

What do you mean you missed 2 or 3 turns? Please explain.

Thanks!
I missed the ride up there do 2 unforseen cercumstances. That was fine by me, cuz it was a nice ride with the girls.

Missed some turns do to peeps so far a head of me when I came up over a little hill around a curve by the time I saw peeple off to the left at a turn it was too late for me to slam on brakes. They were stoped after the turn and not before. I think I missed another 1 cuz me & person in front of me missed the turn....no one at turn to tell us this is the way. I started to get frustrated instead of enjoying my self.

Kewl thanks for the input. It is possible they are stopped after the turn in some instances because it is safer to wait out of oncomming or faster traffic. I think I know the two spots you are talking about. As far as no one to show you the way, I will have to talk with the leader of your group. General protocal is to wait for the sweeper to make sure everyone is still in the group. Also, the sweeper must know the route so that if something like this happens, the sweeper can guide a rider the rest of the way. I assume Dustin knows the route. Glad you made it through safe. GOOD JOB NEWB!!

mel, it's totally ok to be slow. if you are going at a pace that you feel good about, thats all that matters. someone will stick with you and make sure you dont get lost. i rode with psyclone, mudbug, and sloshedmrbones on the way up. that was a sloooooow group, but i think it did me a lot of good. i learned the roads a little and figured a good pace for myself and my abilities. i went a little too fast a few times and had several uh oh moments, but i mostly stayed well in my comfort zone, and had a blast. on the way back, i rode with a faster group and only tried to keep up on the straights, the other times i was just with the group riding at my pace.
dude, it was a good ride, oh yeah, and i'm a noob :P
you did well for 1 month of exp. also, even though you have a katana, your bike looks pretty cool.
