The Bike started out as a 03 with a thrown Connecting Rod.. Shot right out of the block.. so I replaced it with an 06 engine with under 6k mike and upgraded everything else 06. added power commander, gpr, full exhaust, all new mounting hardware for engine and fairings, DB screen, Pazzo leavers,BCM filter, fender elim kit is on the way(dif one).. so basicaly the Bike is and 06 now with 03 fairings and Frame.

I might put it up for sale tho,, not because of anything agains Honda, but the Kawis do ride Nicer... This thing is very fast I might add.

Meh, you got the easy job. I gotta split the case, pull out the gears, and replace anything thats showing signs of wear.

Just got it out about 30 min. ago

When you took out the old motor, did you get a chance to take it apart and see what could have caused the damage? Me and the previous owner always wondered about it but weren't able to find out unless we took it apart which was never done.

yeah, it messed me up pretty bad physically, but financially it hurt me a lot more. medical bills + bike repairs = really bad financial status for a while. having to pay for UH tuition soon after didn't help much either. haven't been on anyone elses bike since then lol.

Good to see the bike is back on the streets. Looks good and probably performs 100X better then before the motor blew.

No its just sitting there.. i literaly stripped the bike down to the bare frame and Built it back up peice by peice using new Honda OEM hardware. the only thing Aftermarket are the bolt ons and the Fairings,,( fitment sucks) but the rest was from the 06 donor bike.. the GPR was funky to put on as well and not because its an 03 with 06 suspension upgrade but because honda built the stearing upper ot upper tripple offset to the frame tank base.. sits off. so I had to custom the mount so the GPR damper could work properly. Other than that the PcIII is tuned great.. i get the ocational Flame burst out the back since its running nice and rich when it cold. Neibors dont like me when I throtle it/.
