I have been looking at a 750, I just don't know how I would like it. I rode one about 2 years ago on the street but don't remember anything but how much power it was the my 99 R6. I'm 150lbs soakin wet so anything bigger than that is out od the question

If i had to do it again and the 636 wasn't an option, i would have gotten an 06' gsxr 600! i really enjoyed riding T's pink suzuki.

From my eperience, and I am a little biased when it comes to suzuki's, but I def like the GSXR6 and R6 better out of the group. The power delivery, throttle response, comfort, and handling of the bike are suitable for my riding style and weight. Im about 156 dry. I've never really liked really anything about the 636's and for me, the CBR just wasn't comfortable. I think it would behoove you, if you have the oppurtunity to test ride any, to try the different bikes out. Honestly they're all comparable and relatively close in performance....it just comest to rider preference.

Good luck amigo

I'm not nearly as experienced as some of the guys on here. But I run somewhere in the mid 1:50's (maybe a little quicker) at MSRH on a bone stock '06 R6 on street tires. I think that says a lot about the bike considering before I got it I was above 2 minutes easily on my '03 GSXR 600. Technology has come a long way in just a few years.

But you know the saying about the 600 class, you really can't go wrong with any of them. It's the most competative class there is, and each have their own little goodies that come with it. I would pick the one thats closer to your price range and that you feel comfortable sitting on. There is no sense in buying a bike that you feel cramped or over stretched on.

If I had to pick one for you, I would only say the R6 because of what it has done for me. Instant results.........

All of the bikes have strong and weak points.
My picks would be Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, and Kawasaki in that order.

FWIW, our GSXR600 will be for sale in a couple of weeks if you're interested;
Ohlins TTX, RaceTech, Yosh, PCIII, Quickshifter, Attack Bodywork, etc.
