Brembo brakes

Anyone change their brakes to brembo? I just bought a Brembo 19RCS master cylinder since mine has been losing pressure. Just curious what all i need to get this to work right.

you'll likely need new brake lines. other than that, you should be good to go. the rcs is really nice, you're going to like it. i recommend starting on the 18mm setting though...the 20mm is a big jump from the stock feel, so its a little harder to get used to.

not sure, it depends on if the brake line fittings are in the same place on the new master cylinder. if they're not in the same place, the brake lines won't be bent properly for the brembo.

No. The Brembo MC and the OE stuff have different thread pitch.

Since you are going to have it all apart, I would go ahead and do it all at once. If you don't already have braded lines, I would get some, they make a world of difference.

I love my Brembo radial master, and being coupled with steel lines makes it sik for feel!

If you have the means, I highly recommend it.

So how much of a difference is this gonna make? After I put it all on should I take it easy on it for a while or is there not that much of a difference that i cant ride? I dont want to lock them up.

you will def notice a difference whether or not you lock the front wheel up is up to you

I liked the Magura that Javi has on his 600rr but i like how you can switch between sizes with these...

Coupled with upgraded pads, you'll feel a difference. The good news is that you'll be able to more easily control the amount of brake force you are exerting to the front wheel. If you use the brake level progressively, you won't have an issue. But, quickly grabbing a handful of brake is a bad idea.

I have a brembo 19x18 with vesrah rjl pads, stainless lines and castrol SRF fluid on my gsxr-1000.
