Question changed oil....light still on?

so i changed my oil and let the bike run for bout 20 minutes or so. and my check oil light is still comin on. whats the deal now?

hold the bike up right while watching the sight glass and start it, does the oil go down

Possibly a wrong oil filter?
Filter bypass valve stuck?
Did you knock the wire loose off the sending unit while you were working on it?
