We had fun in the dirt, but when Allen started doing like this, it was time to start roadracing. Falling out of the sky tends to hurt more than laying down on the pavement. 6 years mx racing.... averaged 4 trips to the Dr. per year, Broke leg, 2 broke hands... left and right, broke ankle, broke pinky finger, numerous concussions and a separated shoulder. 2 1/2 years roadracing.... knock on wood 0 Dr visits

Your son looks great Buck! Skeeters is a fun track, but be carefully out there that track tends to bite back.

Buck, I'm up for adoption.

Do you have any use for a 23 year old ex-Marine who is going to school part time and has a passion for roadracing? I'll do chores for tracktime

Seriously though.......I, like yourself I'm sure, can't wait to see your kid grid up on the pavement. I'm sure he'll be there in no time! Great kid, with great parents! Living, breathing American dream right there my friend!

It's so cool you let your kid ride! I never forget the fact my dad bought me bikes starting out when I was 7 and the other parents thought is was too dangerous. If my grades fell below par or I got caught riding without my helmet the bike was parked!

Meador.............when he starts the tail whips etc, it will definately be time to get him on the asphalt. I was nervous enough with his 1-2' air over the jumps. Sick pictures for sure and I know what that must do to you watching him. I quit dirt for the same's not the launch or the hang time, but the landing that hurts. Really is brutal on the body, I am mainly hopeing to get him comfortable with the bike sliding and how to control the slide. He ate it pretty good a couple times tucking the front into the corners. But always bounced up ready for more.
