My kick kid.....

Started working with Tristan and the TTR week before last. After getting run home by the cops it was time to take it to the track. Hit the new place there by Skeeter and didn't take him long to discover the joy of weightlessness. Got him tucking the front diving into the corners to scrub some speed and he is taking to sliding pretty well for being so fresh. Check it out.............

And he gets straight A's in school. My kid ROCKS!!!!

Very nice, Buck. I wasn't so much of a kick kid, rather I was a kid who needed his kicked regularly, and my marine corps DI father accommodated me.

Buck, Tristan is lucky to have you for a Dad with all your cool toys... er, I mean his cool toys!

Dang Curt, my Dad was a Marine Captain, served two tours in Vietnam... Basic Training for the first 18 years of life is fun isn't it!

Wow we were all military kids? My Dad used to come home and give inspections complete with the white gloves and the quarter test on the beds. Tristan is probably going to be on wheels in a few years jsut to pay me back for all the joys he brings me now. Never had to remind him yet that "I brought you into this world........." But I have the speech prepared for when that day hopefully never comes. If I knew it would be this cool, I'd had kids LONGGGGGG ago. I worry about keeping up as he hits the teen years.

by the way, your kid looks like he did pretty good. i told you it was the perfect place for him to start, super easy beginner course, and even the big bike track isn't too difficult, just weekends are brutal because of big bikes.

Inspections, starting and ending sentences with "Sir", workout routines (wish I would have kept that up after I got out of my first year of college football...), you name it!

I'm sure Tristan, just like my son Brandon, are probably going to be juuuust fine, even though neither of us are near as tough as our Dad's were. , maybe they'll turn out better! I know my son will be less stressed out and have more fun growing up than I did! I'm with you on starting earlier too, it seemed like a good idea at the time to wait.

Anyway, there's a dirtbike track about two blocks from my house in Needville- Southwest Motocross I think? Anyway, Brandon's showing an interest again, I think starting him out at 3 was a bit too early. Now that he's 6 (almost 7), I think it's going to be a better starting point.

Looks like Tristan's getting some serious air there on that TTR!

Man way to go for you Buck! You know my oldest son begged me for a bike for the years and I just wasn't in a position to do it for him. Then when was about 17 I bought him a dirt bike and dualsported it. Then a year later he joined the Army so I didn't get to ride with him much. Then I bought my youngest son a little mini and he just wouldn't ride it, so I ended up selling it.

This can mean many years of enjoyment for you and your son. So take care of yourself!

Awesome Buck!!!!

We just about ruined Chase on bikes!!! He wants to ride but he is leery, because all the trackdays we drag him to someone ALWAYS goes down!!! It is funny all his friends think we are cool, but he just thinks we are Mom and Dad!!!
