Big Question?

Let's say I have a 2007 Honda CBR600RR with 2400 miles on it, and in great shape. http://www.motohouston.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=69438
I'm asking $7200 for and I say clearly in the add "I don't need to sell it so
don't low ball me".

Now someone sends me an email and says he's going to buy a bike tomorrow and he has $5500. If I'm willing to take that he will buy the bike.

Okay here's the big question. Would you consider this a low ball offer?

Yeah...!!!!! Do not take anything lower that the KBB or NADA value for that bike (not sure if NADA also deals with bike prices)

Yes they both do motorcycles and I'm right there with their prices and there's no reason to drop off.

Thanks!

but what scale are you using trade in or retail, I usually take the 2 of em and split the difference, add that to the trade value and thats my offer, I know alot of guys take care of the bikes but then alot of guys abuse em too. just my silly arsed opinion

KBB trade for it is 5100, retail is 7390 difference is 2290 half of that is 1145 add that to the trade and you get 6245 so your about a grand too much, but again thats my opinion. and yea yea its your bike so of course you can ask what ever you want, but my point is that I'm gonna have to change the oil, filter, plugs, air filter(maybe) and possibly tires and maybe even the battery if I get it from a shop I probably won't have to do most of those things( i might but shops should check it over and do the oil at least)

if you do not need to sell it why even consider anything less than asking price?

Okay you go to a dealer and offer them $2000 less than what they're asking and watch their funny laugh.

What really matters here is I said in my ad don't low ball, my question is to see if people can figure out what a low ball is. Apparently not.
