You can call the dealership and have them make another if you know the I.D. code from your key.

BUT

It looks like you have a F2. When I broke my key off in the gas tank lock, I called a locksmith and they cut one for me roadside. Basically use a blank and cut it from the marks left when inserted into the ignition.

OR

You can replace your ignition system. Had that one done 2 or 3 times as well due to lost key.

Isn't there a guy on here that is a locksmith and was testing his skills on cutting bike keys not too long ago? Forget his name....

What part of town are you on. I bet Dawsons can do it, if you are on the northside.

A key can be cut if you dont have a coded key chip. on a 98 you should be good.

Johnny Lock made me one in my driveway for an 01 F4i for around 115.00, that was a few years ago.

I lost my key(which I later found). I took the entire ignition to a locksmith and he said he could make a key for it, but I found the Key-tag(little tab they give you with the new bike) and he was able to cut it after putting into a computer database; that was pretty cool.

None at the moment..... :-(

If you go to a honda dealership, it'll probably run you only around 19-20 bucks to get it made, total. Had to get one for a bike the other day....
