Need help please with integrated tail light wiring

Bike: 2009 Yamaha R6.

I bought a new taillight with integrated turn signals. It has the oem harness part and a wire for each turn signal, and a set of resistors which is says is optional.

I wired the tail light and turn signals by simply connecting the oem to oem.

one wire to one lead on the turn signal harness

One wire to the other lead on the other turn signal harness.

When i turn the key just to get the power on, EVERYTHING works. Brakes, running lights and turn signals.....

As soon as I start the bike, the tail light goes out. I dont think i'm wiring it correctly... Also, if i dont connect the integrated turn signals, the light works fine when on, brakes lights and running lights.

Can anyone help please

Figured out the problem..... For those installing integrated turn signal tail lights.....if all connections are correct, and your lights still dont work. Check your FRONT Flush Mount turn signals. We spent soo much time messing with the back we didnt check the front.

So apparently my flush mount signals were wired wrong from the manufacture within the harness causing the short when started. We switched the wires and plugged it back in. In turn, the rear taillight started working correctly when started. Weird Huh?
