I was talking to an officer buddy of mine that rides a couple of weeks ago, he said that he looked it up, and the it just says that it must be near the rear of the bike, but it never mentions anything about having to be visible. i have mine on a piece of plastic and thrown in my trunk, and he said that technically that is legal cause it is near the rear of the bike.

Dr. Gonzo usually does my inspections. He just puts a little sticker on the fairing.

Its this kit called 'Maver1ck's Fender Eliminator' . I ain't got enough dough to get me the real Fender Eliminator or the Undertails, so I just took off the current fender, and cut a piece of aluminum to cover up the hole that it leaves behind. Then might end up doing the integrated tail light, or just buy some blinkers for CG and put them against the bottom of the fearings.

Sort of like this picture, but the aluminum piece is smaller and the license plate will be up under the tail light (maybe).

FenderEliminator

I already have the piece cut, just need to trim it down so it looks nice and paint it black.

I cut out the sticker and stuck it with epoxy to the other side of the license plate.....that's about as close to it as you can get. This lets you be legal and only have the plate showing from the rear. It also is visible...if you look for it that is.

Yup, thats what I was originally going for, and still might, just I'm an impatient person, and hate waiting for it to get shipped.
