Write Up: MH Shirts

Got my order in from CafePress and thought I would share a bit of info with you guys.

I ordered the regular shirt with my screen name printed on it, as well as the ringer shirt (perhaps my fav). I was going to order a hoodie but after hearing some negative feedback from others about the cafepress hoodies and the fact I couldn't get it in black I passed.

I placed my order on the 29th and received them via UPS today. Considering a week to print, package and ship, I would say that's pretty darn quick.

So here is the lowdown on my two products

Both shirts are very comfy. The material is very soft. I ordered small in both and they are pretty big for a small. I am assuming they will shrink a bit in the dryer seeing as they are 100% cotton. One thing that caught my attention quickly was the printing method on the shirts. I expected these to be silkscreen everyday custom T-Shirts. WRONG. The ink is printed directly onto the shirt itself. My only concern with this is if the ink is going to fade after washings, but only time will tell. Both shirts look great, so all in all if you are contemplating ordering a MH shirt you should def get to it!

for what it's worth I made a few Cafepress shirts about 3 years ago.. and although the logo's never ever peel or flake off.. they do fade quite badly. however it'll just look retro and who cares.. that's in style now.

Washed my twice now and no fading yet. When I saw they were printed on I knew they would likely fade over time. I guess its either crack and peel with the vinylish or fade with the print on. either way. IMO I think a faded shirt will look better than a shirt missing half the letters.
