Before you go out........

I was riding home from school last night when my bike got SUPER LOUD so I pulled over to see my 2 brothers exhaust hangin there, canister un-atached from the pipe. Yeah, lost a few bolts thats going to take a few weeks to get now cuz there "special bolts"
But I still love my 2 brothers FTW

Heres what I have learned in my 4 years of motorcycle riding....

Once a month go around the entire bike and tighten or check (with torque wrench) every bolt you can reach. heres a list to print off and throw in the garage

Exhaust bolts
fairings
axle bolt
Sprocket bolts
clip-on bolt
oil drain plug bolt
oil filter
Bar end sliders
frame sliders
spools
mirrors
Front and rear pegs
engine bolts

Is this the same bike you ride on the track? If so, you might want to consider safety wiring certain items to prevent just this sort of thing. Yeah, yeah, I know it's your street bike, but, well, not if you ride it on the track in anger. Oil fill, oil drain, axles, pinch bolts, oil filter and exhaust can would be a good start.

i had close to the same problem with my two bros on a forest ride, the bolts came loose and it started to come off, i ended up limping home,, but yeah i agree check all bolts cause they tend to work themselves out at the worst times
