How do I..

Get the front wheel off of my 2005 R1. I like to think I'm pretty mechanically inclined but this thing has me stumped. A little ball help please...

get the bike up off the ground with a front and rear stand...

unbolt the calipers on left/right side

look at the axle on both sides and see which side you will need to remove with a ratchet/wrench/whatevers, undo the pinch bolts located in the front of the forks where the axle will be unbolted, then loosen the axle nut off

next undo the pinch bolt on the front of the forks on the opposite side

slide the axle out and the wheel will come out.

be sure not to lose the spacers on the wheel after you get it out.

Uhhh^^^^^???

Isn't there a pinch bolt at the bottom of the fork? In order for the front axel to slide out you need to loosen those.
