Sat sounds good, 9am taco cabana. Last I checked the west side is still closed and there's no camping on the E. side. I would only suggest extra fuel for the RM100, like I said before, once you leave the trailhead you won't see it again for hours. the loops are pretty long.
HoH has the Tx. offroad stickers.

Yeah,
I need to pick one up today.
If anybody needs me to grab one for them, shoot me a PM.

I think it's $5 per day or $25/year.

I think I heard somewhere that if you were with someone that had a permit, that you did'nt have to have one, but not sure if that was for camping or motorcycling.

Anyone know for sure?

I've got to meet a client Saturday morning, but plan to head down to Pelican Island with Tristan after that. Tony you want to get your feet wet on the soft sands? Big area at the end of Pelican with dunes, and some good trails, not sure how it is since the storm, but a great area to ride and a bit closer than the forest. The trees can be pretty unforgiving.....................

Plus you can toss out a line for Flounder and Bull reds while you ride. Fish and ride '08?

I was planning on going to Three Palms but this seems to be more fun. I need to work in the afternoon so I wonder, we will meet at 9, start riding at? at what time will be finishing?
Besides the gear, bike, sammich, water and gas. What else is needed?

I figure grab some breakfast and get rolling by 9:30 or soo. Probably another 45 minutes to the forest from there.
Hopefully ready to ride by 10:30-11:00.
You can always break off early if need be.
Sounds like you got your bases covered on what to bring.
Maybe an extra sammich, just incase.
