The main page shows a total of 15 "recent posts". That's not nearly as useful as the "New Posts" link which shows all of the new posts made since I last visited.

, what about making an option so that a user can "opt in/out" of having posts from certain forums show up when they use the "New Posts" button? That way one person can have ALL new posts show up while another can set it up so that all new posts minus the off-top/circus posts show up.

Pyro as a admin hmmm

Honestly I don't care and I stay away from that section. This is a pretty republican membered site and its pretty much their way or no way when it comes to the threads posted. No offence but a lot of thick skulls around here. I would say I myself am nutral and don't favor one party over the other and its all up to whoever has the better sounding lies.

For the sake of keeping OT the way it is and not adding all that BS to it, keep it open.

Let's take macro politics and put it is micro view....

Be an adult and take care of your own business. If you don't like what is in the circus don't partake in it. Why do you need someone else to regulate what you read when you can simply censor it yourself by not reading it. You are asking someone else to be in charge when you can be in charge of yourself. People that post negative in The Circus would do it other places too eventually if given a topic they don't agree with. If you would have never read the thread you'd be none the wiser (well for the most part).

My .02 cents.

"Life in the circus ain't easy
but the folks on the outside don't know
the tent goes up and the tent comes down
and all that they see is the show
and the ladies on the horses look so pretty
and the lions are lookin real mad
and some of the clowns are happy
and some of the clowns are sad"
