I've been looking for something like this also, but have yet to come across anything.

So for now I've got 2 faceshields that I swap out when I think about it. Best thing I can tell you is just plan for it.

I've used the Hyper Optiks insert and loved it. Not super dark but good enough and at night I would actually see better than with a clear shield.

GET IT

I have the same issue, so for now, I just either wear the light tinted visor for day and short night trips, or the clear visor with sunglasses. Would really like to get me the Scorpion exo-1000 which incorporates a clear visor with an inner dark shade that pops down when you need it.

That transition visor looks like it would be nice, the helmet on the other hand, looks like it wouldn't provide adequate ventilation. Anyone ever try them?

carry an extra shield or wear some shades & just use the clear visor...I haven't tested it but been told that the self tinting visor is only as dark as a medium smoke visor

I have the same problem I go to work in the dark and come home in the afternoon. I just took my clear visor, bought some dark tint and tinted the top 1/4 of the visor and that works pretty good. If I know I'm riding in the sunlight all day I wear the tinted visor.

how do yall get around with 2 visors?
i carry a backpack to work and can stick one in there, but recently i had to get a new visor (old one was kinda scuffed up) and didnt know what to do about the old visor. i just stuffed it into the back of my jacket, inside the back protector area, but that was pretty goofy as , so i threw it away.
