Helmet Locking Strap

well i just bought a 05 yamaha R6 and i noticed that the CBR'S have the strap under the back seat to be able to secure a helmet. does anybody know something about the yamaha's not having that feature?

Yamaha gives you a wire strap for the helmet. It comes in the tool pouch and hooks up in the boot.
It sucks. I never used it. Always carried my helmet with me.

there should be wire strap that comes with the bike. i have a 07 and its the same. i had to rigg something up. i hear you can loop your helmet strap around the rear seat or something.

k one more thing i have a fender eliminator kit and i will need some lighting on my plates there is no lights to illuminate it. any links to ebay?

I only hang my helmet IF i am around the bike. otherwise, i will carry it with me. I did rig something up instead using the wire. wire is gay. just get some L bracket from home depot and attached somewhere on the compartment. it works but i don't trust it. I think someone could just come by and tug on it and it will loosen up and just steal the bike.
