The tank cover on that bike looks a LOT like the M1 tank cover, no?

I can't wait to see what Elbowz does next year!

Is it next year yet?

pants (!) Noun/Adj. Nonsense, rubbish, bad. From the standard British English of pants, meaning underwear; also a variation on 'knickers'. E.g."The first half was pants but I stayed until the end and it was actually a great film." [1990s]
Exclam. An exclamation of annoyance or frustration. From the noun, (above).

Here's another one I thought was funny...

paps Noun. Women's .

Holy cow! I didn't realize how funny some of the British slang was!

peanut smuggler Noun. A woman with erect nipples, evident through her clothing. See 'peanut smuggling'.

Not to detract from the thread any more....

Wonder if Spies is going to get up to speed quickly or if he's going to have a long time of acclimating?

i think he will adapt rather quikly. he has his whole racing career. from 50s to 125s to 600s to superbikes. he has always been a contendor. he may not be the fastest right outta the gate next year, but im sure he will be there after the first few races.

Rea, Sykes, Haslam and Crutchlow have all got up to speed pretty quick in their wildcard rides so I expect we'll see him at the sharp end anytime now

This might be a true statement about Spies last riding a Yamaha in 1996, but it's not universally true about him being a Suzuki man [implied] since 1996. Lots of us raced with Ben on YSR-framed 80s in 1996 and 1997. I also raced with him in the 125 and 250 class over the next couple of years when he was piloting Honda RSs. He did, however, turn pro in 2000, riding nothing but Suzuki since then.

Leave it to Dean "Name Dropper" Adams to get something wrong because he's trying to make it a part of his purple prose.

That's not a run, that's a strategically placed cooling vent. I have some high horsepower hose, you know.

actually 1998 was Ben's first year on a suzuki riding for John Ulrich and the Valvoline Suzuki squad. i was at Bens house buying his 1997 RS125 the day his valvoline suzuki leathers showed up.
