How to: 12 0'clock a 50

OK so I picked up a 50stunt 12bar from Tom (thanks btw, its in perfect condition) and I was out yesterday practicing and getting it past balance point in 2nd gear but I keep hitting the brake and bring it back. Its just scary, it feels like I'm going to fall off and smack my head on the ground and land on my back. The 12bar is adjusted perfect but I don't have a handbrake so I have been just using the rear foot brake. So what's the trick?? Is it just a matter of man'in up and holding on or what?? How fast do I need to scrape and recover it??

Scrape it going faster and ride the brake till you are on the bar then if you have enough speed while you are scraping you can use the brake to bring it back from 12.

first gear is do-able as you can see in my vid, but get over the fear of falling back..and remember to scrape straight back...like your falling onto your back into a nice soft bed
