i ride honea egypt a lot, and its a treacherous road, i have seen at least 4 fatality car accidents out there over the past 10 years. its a great road, but has several sharp curves, the one by Grand Lakes is always messed up from cars going off the road. it is even worse now since so many people drive it and live along it.

I cam around a curve on that road and there was a huge tree branch about 10" in diameter on the road with about 24" of clean road to spare. I barely made it out of it.

We ride it every Forest Ride but respectfully for the residence in that area.

Keep in mind the home owners association hires officers due to speeders since it is a deterant for new buyers in the masterplan communities along the way. Speed limit there is 45.

Wishing peace to the friends and family.

i don't think gear would help if a car drove over you.

rip to the rider. At least a lesson learned for the 29 other riders that no matter how slow or small a bike/scooter is it is just as dangerous as the big bike and should wear gear, even if the rider is ran over.
