its that time of year again....

its early so im letting everyone that wasnt around last year just exactly what it is we're doing for christmas. its called OPERATION: CANDY CANE, and its a ton of fun. heres a link to the thread from last year:

http://www.motohouston.com/forums/sh...ion+candy+cane

here is OUR video:

and here is the video from the guy that started it all. i took his idea (his was christmas of 06) and ran with it.

in the list last year only about half the people that signed up actually showed, which was still a good turn out. i want to see more riders this year! the kids and the parents absolutely LOVED it! please understand that this is not for biker awareness or any kind of charity because there are plenty of other organizations out there for that, its only because its Christmas. thats it. we are gaining nothing from this except for some smiles and i would like for it to stay true to that. those of you who did it last year, i would love to see you with me again. those of you that are new, just watch the vid and look how much fun we had. ill post a list in a couple of weeks!

That is abso-friggin-lutely cool of you Azylum. Do you just ride around heavily-populated areas giving out candy to kids? Do you ever have parents telling their kids not to accept candy from the strange Santa on the motorcycle? Who cares if it was someone else's idea at first? You care enough to carry it on, and that's cool too.

Haha, I love this sappy Xmas ! I'm all in!

Hey since this is for kids, how about a small note on each candy cane with some sort of motivational quote?

It *IS* Xmas and kids minds are so impressionable, I bet they'll remember that till they day they buy their own first motorcycle!
