Sorry Pam, I must have woken up on the wrong side of the bed this morning, reading too much into stuff.

AND Sorry Squeaky for instigating drama in your thread, it looks like it will be an awsome ride. Thanks for putting it together.

No worries, I didn't think it was like you to see it like that
It will indeed be a good ride.

Ok ladies, there's been a slight change - same day, same time, same town but different restaurant. The first post will been updated to include the details soon.

Lakeside Restaurant
2709 E Main St, Madisonville, TX 77864

Lakeside has a luncheon buffet for $8.95 with the typical country fare and a dessert. It will likely include the standard fried chicken, green beans, etc., type stuff but they also have a regular menu that we can order from if we want to skip the buffet. Typical country food, overall. Dessert is one or two homemade things - pie, cobbler, cake - something sweet.

I'll probably wander back and be home by 5 or 6, but if you need to be home sooner you can hit I45 and be home much faster I'm sure. We should be done eating and talking by 1:30 or so.

I also need to head home at an earlier time than the others. I work graveyard and need a nap before work. If need be, we can head out together -- of course Justine would be obligated too.

I have no obligation to be home early but would happily ride home with all of ya, especially you Toni since we live in the same area.

Here's an idea of the route I'm planning to/from lunch. Once I get back to Conroe I'll either wander back through "the usual" if there's time or just slab back on the freeways if it's getting late or I'm tired.

For those that would like, I will call the meet-up spot as the Starbucks on the SE corner of 290 & Hwy 6. Kickstands up @ 9.

We can make a quick stop for fuel and to pick up riders from Montgomery/Huntsville. Navasota - Hwy 6 & 105 @ 10.

Ok, so KCDakar seems to be in the lead for the long-distance award, coming all the way from Kasas City, Missouri for lunch!

There looks to be a mini-meetup at Westheimer and Hwy 6 to get a few of us to the meet-up point together. Not sure what time yet, but speak up if you want to meet us there for the (boring) ride up Hwy 6.

West Houston/Katy/Sugar Land ladies: If you want to ride up together, please meet at Westheimer & Hwy 6 (anyone know which corner has a gas station?) and be ready to roll out of there at 8:15 to head up to the Starbucks on 290.

No open gas stations on any corner. One closed gas station on the northeast corner, CVS or Walgreens on the southeast corner, the mall on the southwest corner, and a bank on the northwest corner.

Thanks, looks like I'll have to swing by there tonight after work and pick a spot. The mall parking lot would be too hidden from the roadway, me thinks.

Im not even gonna consider crashing this one,

cuz you all ride like girlz.... (and that by no means is a bad thing)

Actually I didnt read anything on this thread, just jumped to the last page to respond. But Miss Jenniesweet said she'd really like to go if anyone would be interested in taking a passenger. She isn't ready for a ride that far yet. She can borrow jacket, gloves and helmet from me and Im sure could compensate for the rider.

Great passenger, she did the forest with me on her first ride around 100 etc. Leans well etc. Just throwing it out there cuz she never likes to invite herself but was expressing interest earlier today. Text or PM her. Thanx for the consideration ladies!

Enjoy the ride!
