K & N Airfilter

Would I really benefit from fitting one of these in my cbr or should I just be cheap and get a different one?

The advantages of the k&n is it is reusable. Just get a recharge kit and this will be the last air filter you need to buy.

Alot say BMC is better. I have a K&N. Can't say I noticed any real difference in power. Now with a full exhaust a PC3 and a tune that might be a different story. The one thing that is nice is cleaning it and recharging it and tossing it back in.

I notice the difference. I put them in everything. Well worth it they are reuseable.

If there are airbox mods then do them at the same time you're replacing the filter for added flow.

There is a race k&n that is reported to be even less restrictive and still traps just as well.

You will need to rejet the carbs on it if you change the filter to BMC or K&N. Once you do that, twist the throttle in 2nd and up she comes. I had a 93 CBR900RR and it made a huge difference after the K&N filter and the rejet.
