So what did you learn?

It was a stunt bike when i bought it. I don't stunt. I can't even wheelie.

I was wearing helmet, jacket, gloves, jean and tennis shoes. Shoes held up just fine, jeans ripped at the knee causing that damage. Gloves help up great, no damage there either. Jack rode up causing the rash on the side, but looking at it this morning there is no damage to it. Helmet got scraped up but there was no hard hit, I just slid on the rocky sandy surface.

I learned not to go riding in the desert at night because you can't see ahead. I was following my buddy and he almost lost in the same corner so I was looking at him and not the road.

Yeah, my knee is definitely the worst part. The jeans didn't hold up at all, but I feel pretty good today. I think I will be back playing basketball by next week.
I do not have collision insurance, only liability and theft. I was hoping somebody would steal the bike while we left it to go get the truck but no luck.

Unfortunately for me, that person would be my roommate. I'm stuck with a Ford Ranger until I can find a new bike.

Use the top pick when you put it up for sale, doesn't look so bad from that angle.

Glad you're ok, you picked the perfect time of year to go down, it'd cost more to replace in the spring/summer!
