It's all in the timing. If it had been 20 years ago, it would have been 23/10!

whats wrong if he wants a fast bike and ride it slow? no reason to tell him hes goin to die, do you know his maturity level? to me thats where its at, i know guys that have gotten in way over there heads but have a solid head on them and learn to ride properly

i had a buddy that was a little "overwieght" so he thought he needed a bigger bike. he's ridden before so i let him use my bike as a comparison.... . . . . . . . . . . needless to say when he dumped the clutch in third gear at about 70 and it stood up on him he realized he didnt need a bigger bike to get from A to B. and i agree with OMEGA. it's all in the maturity level. i dont go a day without being told im going to "kill" myself. i shrug it off because i know that IM a safe rider whether the people that tell me are or not. but i do know the busa is a tad bit much for a completely brand new rider unless he dicides to keep it on the slow side and not try to be ballsy

Make him feel bad when talking w other people... Someone's bound to ask 'how fast have you gone?' Just direct all attention to the busa owner so he can answer '65'... lol...
