My first was this year at TWS (Texas World Speedway). I've done 2 more since then, and will do at least one more this year. I have every intention of riding next year. I have cornerworked at TWS (Texas World Speedway), GSS, MSR-H, and MSR-C. The only one I have not set wheels on is GSS. I will fix that next year.

I'm hooked.

Did my first noob day with Buck's crew this past March...now this Nov 1st with Ridesmart will be my 5th trackday. It's a friggin blast, I learn something new; usually many new things every time, and I get faster and faster. I can also drag my knee now consistently too!!!

Yup, I plan on doing a lot more next year, this is a true addiction, I'm glad there's deer hunting in Texas to occupy my winters.

I did my first track day this year at grandsport and have ridden every track that our main organizations go to, except oak hill. Ive done eagles canyon, cresson, TWS (Texas World Speedway), gss, and msrh.

I did i think 8 track days total this year. ...and i have 3 more scheduled before the season is totally over. I plan to do much more then 8 next season.

Im hooked and not even sorry! I might be spending more then someone my age should be on a hobby...but i dont care....its my main source of happiness, its my pride and joy... and its what I want.

I did my first track day this year at TWS (Texas World Speedway). I've done 5 now and have a few more planned for this year. I plan on doing MANY more next year, since I'll be out of school and on my own bike!

I did my second track day this year (first one was the all girl one June of 07) and I decided that I won't do anymore. I suck at it so I figured it is best to accept my defeat and move on before I crash my bike, or worse. It just seriously frustrates me and I left the last one in tears. I know it sounds dumb for several reasons. But seriously I suck at track & I'm fine on the street.

You'll be fine with any of the trackday organizers on this board that offer a Novice group.

Don't give up so easy! By a cheap track bike so it's not a big deal if you drop it. I'm about to be a nurse too!

thats the problem with most riders who come from the street to the track. Most of the things you do on the street are dangerous and not the proper way to ride. SO even though you can get awat with it on the street you can not bring those bad habits to the track. At the track you learn your bike, how it handles and what you can do to control it better. Then you can take that back to the streets. but never can you bring what you do from the streets to the track Don't give up, find a instructor that you like (there are many good ones) and let them work with you.

Why? Your 1000 will be fine on any track in Texas.

Any of the schools. R/S, LSTD, TTD, LMS. All have tons to offer. Just choose the one that best suites your schedule

TTD will be at TWS (Texas World Speedway) on Nov. 22nd and 23rd

Naw, I see people tearing it up on litrebikes on the track. Even at GSS last weekend, a super tight and technical track, I saw big bikes all over the track

I've ridden a few track days in the UK, but after a 6 year break, I've ridden my first track days in the US this year. First was at MSR-H and second at GSS, both with TTD. I've signed up for a third at TWS (Texas World Speedway) on 23 Nov, again with TTD.

I've really enjoyed the intruction with TTD, learnt a ton about improving my track riding technique, and I've got a lot faster over just 2 track days.

So I'm hooked....going to buy a track bike over the winter and retire the Duc!
