because racer x say the more it cost the bigger my c$%* size na i like the inflatable cheek pads and flip down internal visor, i was goin to get a 700 or maybe even the 400 but its not what i wanted, dont mean the 400 will protect less

i know and i agree, i wouldnt never personally recomend a bell helmet but sometimes its what some people can afford, on the flip side to that, save up a few bucks and buy something with a lil better reputation,

you can spend all the money on a pricy helmet but it still comes down to whats inside that helmet to avoid hitting the object or crashing the bike...

so promote training and rider safty like always racerx come on your slacking!

Thats nice and all dude, point made. This discussion is about helmets and their quality, not your safety preaching.

My shoei RF1000 held up wonderfully with my track get off yesterday. basically did a face plant into the pavement only a couple of scratches on the outside and a small crack on the outer core!

I paid a little over $500 new for this helmet!

Hmmm, interesting numbers. I got my HJC for $130.

You know Racer X, ASKING every question with cynicism and ANSWERING every question with sarcasm doesn't make you right. State your opinion and the facts that back that up, but you don't need to be a about it and talk down to everyone else.

There should be a new rating besides DOT and Snell.
It should be called RCX!

Dude those SparX helmets look cool. The Griffin is exactly what I'm looking for.

Anyone know if it's RCX approved?
