SparX helmets?

has anyone had any experience with this manufacturer? looking for a new helmet and came across these. they seem pretty good, they are DOT and ECE approved (isn't ECE stricter than snell?) anyways, any info you got on these would be cool. fit, comfort, protection, personal opinions whatever you got. thanks

ECE has diff. criteria then SNALL & DOT

get what you think your heads worth, $140 for a sparks lid, let us know how it goes in a crash (you'll be the test dummy). cuz my heads worth more then that.

man dont listen to people telling you because its 140 it wont work biggest bullshit i ever heard, sure shoei and arai makes a nice lighter 300
+ dollar helmet but does not mean your head is indestructuble, the more expensive you get you start payin for lightness wind noise cancellation and sometimes paint schemes, if its dot and snell cert, it will do what its suppose to do

DOT and SNELL are minimum certifications.

you ever see those car crash reports, some are fair ,some are good , and some are recommended. all pass DOT min. standards, but if you HAD to be in a crash. would you want to be in a fair or recommended car.

get what you think your heads worth.

exactly but to tell someone to go be the test dummy is retarded, there are plenty of great helmets under 200 bucks that will meet or exceed the standards of other top brand helmets

I tested a scorpion 80 mph into a car (granted the car was moving forward so actual impact I don't know). It works, its not super expensive. I was the test dummy.

Haha Im just messin' any helmet is better than nothing, But I have to side ALITTLE with mrX here. more money = better over all helmet. But like Omega was roughly saying Its not more money = safer.

But its up to you what you are willing to bet. Do some research like omega did, find some test data. See what you like. You're already on the right track.
