I always loved the black birds also....that look REALLY good in silver. Great all around bike. Center stand also kicks ...

BTW there was a black bird at the Texas Mile this past weekend with a TINY Aerocharger turbo on it running right at 200mph. Said it made 220hp and he had 35k miles on it, 32k of which were with the turbo.... I thought it was pretty cool.

Actually, that kit you are talking about with the "" decals for the fairings wasn't a factory kit. It was designed/built and sold by Mark Moisan, owner of American Turbo Systems. He made a bunch of them in 97-98 for the carbed Blackbirds. He also made a stg 2 kit that was intercooled for them but only a handful were ever built. I remember when Sport Rider did the write up on the kit in 98. I thought holy sh*t those people are crazy, power wheelies in 3rd gear.....(little did I know that I would ever have one.....)

Here is one of the last remaining ones(for some interesting Blackbird reading):
http://www.cbrxx.com/engine-airbox-e...o-install.html

I would love to build a turbo Blackbird, nothing crazy, maybe about 230hp thats reliable as stock and I could ride anywhere......a good SPORT tourer....
