SICK........

Post some times as soon as you can......the suspense is killing me. (although, I'm not expecting blazing times......but it will be nice to see how consistant he is right off the bat with a new bike and new tires.)

From watching the vids of Nicky, he seems to actually fit on this bike...

It's good to see Nicky adapting to the bike so quickly! He's already gone faster (in 4 hours of testing) than Melandri did during the race yesterday and Melandri was running 10th before he ran off the track!

On the flip side, Melandri has already equalled Hopkin's best time from yesterdays race in the same 4 hour testing period!!

First impressions from both of the riders is very good... do we REALLY have to wait until April 2009 for more racing?!!

No doubt. I think Dovi is going to be a huge contender next year, possibly rivaling Lorenzo.

Tires are going to be the biggest learning curve for some, others will have to adapt to new bikes/ teams.

Did anyone else see the interview with Edwards? His Crew Chief left him two days ago after being with him for years! Colin said he's "going to crew for 'Wonder Boy'", is that Pedrosa? Surely it's not Stoner...

Digg the US flag montra for sure! Hayden really has to do well on this bike, dont you think? Although his last few rides at Honda were good ones. He needs to run up front every week on this bike.

I agree, if he can't get it done on the Ducati, it will be AMA or WSBK for him.

I think he will do very well on the Duc, theoretically, it should suit his riding style. He'll also have the same tires to choose from that everyone else does, so it takes those issues out of the equation.

I think next year is anybody's year too- the ones that finish more races anywhere on the podium will probably end up Champion. Those that crash and miss races will probably not do very well by the end of the year...

From our friends at SuperbikePlanet.com....

Quote:
"Like I told my brother, I don't know what they pay Casey but it's not enough. They need to double it," Hayden said, "because this thing can be a monster." Hayden was twelfth-fastest out of eighteen riders today at Valencia.
