Tires for my Suzuki M50 cruiser

Just wanted to get some opinions on the tires that you guys ride and trust.
I'm looking to get some new rubber for my M50 cruiser after the winter break and would like some suggestions. Everyone says different tires from different name brands ride different on different bikes with different applications... yadda, yadda.

I know this.

Daily 40mi commuter, don't ride em too hard but would like some confident cornering tires for the twisty's when they come calling on the weekends.
I'm not afraid of the throttle and scraping the pegs.
Any cruiser riders with comments and suggestions are highly appreciated.
All you other hotshotcrotchrocketers can chime in too!

Thank you....

(I know I left some brands out, but these seem to be the big ones.)

back in the day i had metzeler z6's on my zx7. great for commuting because the center was solid and took a long time to wear down, even with a heavy right hand and a lot of straight line commuting. i still felt confident in the rain and in the turns too, but nothing like the pirellis that came on my buell... i think that was due to the chassis though. anyway, i would give sport tourers a shot, and fwiw, metzeler makes a good one.

For the M50 I go with the Metzler ME880, hands down.

Thanks for the suggestions so far guys.

Patrick, the ME880's were my second choice after the Dunlop D404's. A bit more expensive, but I understand it's worth it from the reviews I've read.

Can you PM me a quote with install?

The tires are the only thing between you and the ground. I would spend money on tires over anything else on a bike. All the big brands seem to have good feel, but for the money I think Metzler has the longest life.
