When I was first learning to ride I finally convinced my friend who was teaching me (po-po 5.0) to let me take it out myself, outside of the parking lot and without him following. Apparently I needed more practice taking left hand turns cause the first one I attempted I target fixated, hit the curb and slid down the side walk. 2 people stopped to help me and all I could think of was the bike. No real damage to me but the bike was really messed up.

Got the bike home and walked in and told him I wrecked his bike and he totally didn't believe me until he saw the blood on my hand
