Exclamation The Popo Are Going to Knock On My Door

I rode this morning and traffic was TERRIBLE. 249 & the beltway was backed up a while. I was nice and didn't split. Once I got towards the normal left entrance I saw the right was ok and figured to take it for the Ez tag, when pulling up I realized no EZ tag sign, but it was kind of late.
I pull up the stop, look at the guy, and he just stares. I tell him "sorry man, I have an EZ tag in my backpack", He was from Pakastan or India, or something and says, "no ez tag here", i saw well that's all I have and he says the same thing without offering any solution. I couldn't really back up, and 60+ cars were in the ez tag lane, I had cars piling up, I wear full gear and had riding pants and everything so wasn't really feasible, though I look back now it was POSSIBLE though it would have taken a while, to get to my wallet and have him issue me a violation. I ride everyday paying my tolls and now he's treating my like a criminal. He keeps going on, and I can't just sit there and I don't know what came over me. I wasn't going to sit there and try and back up into cars. You know how people get!
I gunned my 250 engine and took off, and heard him yell like I was a thief. Geez. It was more dangerous to try and backup (if even possible), and with traffic that bad, degearing to have him send me a violation didn't seem wise.

I'm pretty hardcore about following the rules and have never done that. I felt bad for him, but geez man, i made the mistake of the wrong lane. Don't jeopardize my safety or hold up 20 other cars just because I took the wrong lane!

I have an EZ tag account, will they bill me and get my license (since I'm sure he can hit some button to register a violation and they look at the camera), or will I get a violation that I need to dispute because of the situation.....

Is there an APB out on me?

Can I walk in public without fear of being arrested?

If that vehicle is the one you have the EZ Tag for, they'll just bill you, no biggie, and no, nobody's gonna come knocking on your door.

If you don't have an EZ Tag for that vehicle, they'll just bill you.

Of course, this is all in consideration that they actually were able to get you on camera...

, man people just can't cut anyone breaks now days...

Off topic (sort of)
I made the mistake one time and got into the ez-tag lane w/no ez-tag, so I rode on the center line in between the censors. Will is still pick up my tag # or did I avoid it all together b/c of the smallness and weight of my bike?

+1 on the camera bit. If you have an easy tag it reads your plate and will bill you. Maybe not even that. I know my plate isn't visible to the eztag cams cause sometimes my eztag doesnt read from my jacket, and when it doesnt i don't get charged.

Don't ride directly on the white line or you may risk getting pulled over for failure of staying in the lane. Make sure you ride directly next to it in either lane. It still won't pick up.*

Even if they do that you can call them (after you get the bill) and get the fee dropped. I've done that before. Just takes a phone call.
