New guy in west end of heights

Hi,

I'm a new rider. My bike is a 73 Bonneville 750. Took the safety training course before I ever got on the thing. Got licensed, insured, etc. Been riding daily for several months now and am starting to feel confident.

In the process of tearing the bike apart to make it a cafe racer. Putting M-bars and rear sets on it.

Oh, I almost forgot. I had the Amal bodies honed and the sliders skirted with stainless steel, then rebuilt them. They now work great. If anyone is runnin' Amals or having problems with them, PM me and I'll tell you what I know.

If any of ya'll are interested in old Brit bikes and other cafe' bikes, there is going to be a vintage brit bike swap meet at the Dark Horse Tavern on November 2nd. Supposed to be bikes, hot rods, vendors, some music, and food. Its free so check it out. Not sure what time it starts.

Now look at that! Squoddy calls my gear gay, then falls for a bike that is probably older than she is! That isn't a pic of you in your avatar is it Squoddy?

VERY cool bike bud! I've been riding 25 years and have ridden a few Bonnies. They are WAY COOL! Congrats on a great purchase.
