07-08 CBR intake mod

Has anyone done this? Does it make any improvements? I just got my new intake tube and it literally took me maybe 5 min to take out the baffles, saw instructions on another site that said to use a dremel or soldering iron but if you apply pressure to the baffles they tear out really nice and look much better than having it melted or grinded out. Now its just time to make time and change out the broken one on the bike.
