I read about this company today in USA Today. They convert other types of vehicles for younger, disabled people who don't want to drive a minivan.

I met a guy a few years back that had been nearly paralyzed in a motorcycle accident, healed and recovered just enough that he could walk, but required two canes. The guy still rode a stock height Bandit 1200 and kept his canes slung over his back in a quiver-looking sling. One of the coolest old dudes I think I've met, and man he could ride!

edit: wow, just saw the date on that post I was commenting on, but to be fair I did meet that guy around Nov. 2008, so it was at least relevant around the time of the original post.
