Handicap motorcycle at UH

so today i parked in the parking garage and through some cars i see a motorcycle parked in a handicap spot and i think too myself thats wrong.

anyhow as i get closer i see its a motorcycle fully customized for a handicap rider. The Motorcycle had a platform built onto the side of it which could fit a wheelchair with a ramp that folded up and down off the platform controlled by an actuator. the plat form had a wheel on the side of it basically making it similar to a motorcycle with a sidecar instead its just a flat platform to park your wheelchair on instead of a little seat to sit in.

anyhow i know this is hard to picture but i didnt have a camera on me. the bike had handicap plates and all! would love to meet this guy.

There was an episode on American Chopper when they did a custom bike for a handicapped fan.

I think that was the first trike they built.
