Serious time Cheetoh... Have you ever taken a Concealed Handgun class? Are you licensed? And, it is plenty safe to have a chambered weapon on your person... I personally am not comfortable with the Glock though. If you have taken any such course you would be highly aware of what it means to carry a concealed weapon and why not having it chamber is more of an issue. Your attacker is more then likey going to have his weapon chambered and be on the jump against you. You are going to run and hide for 20 seconds to draw your weapon and chamber it? Doubtful, Just my opinion again....

Is that range going to allow you to draw from a concealed location and shoot? If not this is way off topic.... and your skills at the range may be a bad thing to be bragging about if you are a concealed hand gun licensee. This can be used against you in a court of law if you are ever brought up on charges while using your weapon in self defense. Although, I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice.

dude most people carry a concealed for no reason they will never use it.... its just flashiness...unless ur a security officer or on the force....
remember when u take ur chl they are assuming that ur landing this kinda job... but in a real life would u put ur gun chambered at the house ...would u carry it chambered ... i wouldnt cause i dont think i will be put in a situation where i have to use it that fast.... i guess im beeing over cautious...

+1 on Concealed Handgun Classes

I advocate all non-criminals to take the time out of their schedules to learn about your rights and how you can uphold them by becoming licensed. It is bad enough we have been forced to get licensed... next they will be pulling that right as well. :eh:

Well, this is a simple difference of opinion maybe... but all my guns are chambered. I do not have children so it is not an issue in the home. Personally, I hope I never use a firearm is self-defense but, if I am of the unlucky number then it will be chambered and will be used. this was a difficult decission for me up till I was about 25. Even being raised around guns and avid hunters all my life. I could not bring myself to the realization that some people will harm you for their better interest. After dealing with a few situations while living in apartments and finding that not only was I in danger but my GF at the time who I love dearly was as well, I was compelled to make the decission that I would own a gun and that meant if I ever drew it I would fire with intention to stop the threat.

Sure did... had a great time as well. Was a little warm during some parts of the riding portions. Would do it again just for some of the comical aspects and I need to work on that figure 8 stuff. :icon_bigg

I will say the skills learned did save my but once about a year ago when I had to make a sudden stop on the freeway due to construction.

It is ok Cheetoh... I still like you. I can always agree to disagree.... unless it is on the topic of freedom. Which we all seem to enjoy.
