k6 suzuki gsxr 600

Unhappy FI light on k6 gsxr 600

hey guys, i need some help, i just got a practically new k6 gsxr600, the bike should be in new condition, however, the FI light and the red indicator kept on lighting up when i start the engine. i normally just restart the engine until it goes off, and normally it will stay off, but last night when i was riding, the FI light came on again. and i read in the manual, it says it's fuel injection system. does this ever happen to any of you guys? do i need to take it to the dealer? is it a big deal as far as doing damage to the engine? please show me your insights thanks
