I have a set of those cheap threaded steel plates. Perfect and cheap. Never ever dragged a peg on the SV that I can remember.

I'm also kicking around the idea of upgrading the brakes. I also came across some brackets that let you run gixxer brake calipers [not the newer radial design], add to that a better master cylinder and some steel lines
I have those brackets that raise the stock pegs. Never dragged the pegs, only toes Yeah the whole brake system upgrade is on the list as well. I'll start with pads and lines though.
