Hey man, truth be told, I only helped you because I'm envious of your beard. Ba ha ha ha.

Is there actual damage or just a broken chain?

Sucks about your chain, hope thats the only thing that needs fixing. It was also nice meeting ya, and maybe this might make you feel better... I got home with a nail on my tires, which are still fairly new.. oh well.

Fix the chain and let me know when you want to ride again...

dude it doesn't make me feel better at all, that stinks, is it holden air or is it leaken bad?

guys, i have no idea right now, the chain is jammed in there really good, as soon as i heard the pop (and it was loud) i pulled the clutch in, thinken there was something internal, so i didn't want a luck up, i think that might have allowed the chain to bunch up in there, gonna have to mock withit tomorrow if not take it somewhere, i really hope it's nothing big, give you guys an up date as soon as i find out

, I had that happen once....not sure what the SV design is, but hopefully it's easy like mine was....see here:

http://www.motohouston.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=25930

and how to replace the countershaft seal (the gasket behind the front sprocket)...if the chain "doubled" up in the front sprocket area like mine did (pics in previous link), I'd recommend replacing the countershaft seal if it's easy to get to. That chain may have stressed the counterhsaft seal and caused it to warp. Good luck getting her back together.

need to have her done this week and start riding or else i'm gonna get really cranky, all work and no bike makes payam a dull boy!
dbuck thanx for the input, in your situation was the gear shifter stock, i was in sixth gear when it snapped and now only moves down to fifth and that's it!
