Yellow 2008 Kawa ZX-6R

I have a friend who's thinking of doing this. He dropped his bike, and rather than buying a new exhaust, he was just thinking of chopping it all off. I told him it'd be loud as , and not in a good way.
I don't know how it'd mess with the compression coming off the engine though.... I have a feeling you'd lose power? Cause there'd be no back-pressure....?
