To take off of not??

Just wondering if anyone would take off their passenger foot pegs cause the bike looks better??

I think the bike looks better without them, but does that sacrifice the possible protection of a low side crash??? Im just wondering if people see them not just as passenger pegs but as rear frame sliders.

Depending on how bad the crash, they'll end up just breaking off anyways. How's the new bike Chris?

Going great.... Just sucks though this break in period cause im keeping it under 7k which is like max 75 mph... 20 miles til i hit 600 then oil change, then i can go up to about 8300-8500 revs until 1000 miles... then its fun time. Lol

i took mine off and put the cowl on. looks good...but i have run into three situations since i took them off where a girl wanted to ride with me...but the way i look at it, im not going to give someone a ride with out a helmet which i would have to return home for anyway. and as someone mentioned it takes five minutes to put them on. if you dont have a cowl it looks stupid without pegs though...

If they don't double as an exhaust hanger I pull mine off on all my bikes. It gives it a MUCH cleaner look and then you have a great excuse when a girl a little too big asks for a ride, if it's a hottie it only takes 2 minutes to throw them back on

I pulled mine off and traded them for parts I needed. The rear cowl and no pegs make it look SOOOOO much cleaner. I need to do something about the fluid res. though.

You all know they make aftermarket exhaust hangers in carbon or titanium right?
